Welcome To Arlington Urban Ministries Minimize

Arlington Urban Ministries is an outreach ministry providing emergency financial assistance to Arlington residents in crisis.

AUM skilled staff and volunteers:

  • Respectfully listen to each client’s individual situation
  • Assist in identifying options and possible solutions
  • Provide financial assistance for rent, utilities, and other basic needs
  • Provide emergency food and toiletries
  • Offer encouragement

Bells, Brass, and Burgers!

AWC selected Arlington Urban Ministries as the beneficiary of their 2010 philanthropy efforts. It was recently announced that AUM will receive $30,000 from their March fundraiser, “A Philanthropy Evening and All That Jazz".

Through the generosity of AWC, more disadvantaged families will receive help with their overdue rent and utility bills. AUM gratefully acknowledges the hard work and generosity of the members of the Arlington Woman’s Club.

Trinity UMW / Nu2U Fashion Show
THANK YOU, Trinity United Methodist Women! AUM recently received $1,100 from their successful fashion show. More than 150 attendees enjoyed a delicious lunch, entertaining models sporting outfits from Nu2U Resale Store, and the hilarious commentary by Sally McGaw.
Thank you to co-chairs Cherry Christianson and Susan Craig for their wonderful leadership. Thank you to the members of the Deborah, Priscilla, Lydia, and Esther Circles for their support.
