Breaking the cycle of poverty, one family at a time!

The 2018 Boots, Chaps, & Cowboy Hats sets a new record,
raising more than $130,000 for AUM programs.

We are so grateful we have friends like you supporting Arlington families facing difficult situations and providing them hope. The room was filled with over 400 guests passionate about helping Arlington families facing a crisis. Uptown Drifters entertained guests as they bid on silent auction items, tried their luck with raffle, wine pull, heads/tails game and enjoyed a delicious plated dinner by Magdalena's. Jim Douglas, retired WFAA Chanel 8 reporter, joined us as emcee and the night ended with our friend, Bryan Weatherford, auctioning some pretty amazing live auction packages.

AUM honored four amazing youth for their interest in giving back to our community. Congrats to Heidi Estrada, Ian Loper, Makenzie Roper and Katherine Tran for "Doing Good in the Neighborhood"!

Guests heard personal stories from two families that escaped eviction because of AUM's assistance. The Ecke family said, "God used AUM as an answer to our prayer. AUM staff helped us in a tough moment in our life. There was a sense of shame and failure asking for help, but Arlington Urban Ministries' staff quickly helped put those feelings to rest."

A big thank you to Mary Helen Burnett and Meghan Phillips for leading the super talented Boots committee to a fantastic year! On behalf of those we assist, all of us at AUM are deeply grateful for your concern and support. It is because of you that we will be able to assist more Arlington neighbors in crisis. We would also like to thank our generous sponsors: Baylor Orthopedic and Spine Hospital, TXU Energy, Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Trinity Sports Foundation, Cool Tech Mechanical, Arlington Today, and all of our wonderful table sponsors. Your support changes lives. A special thank you to all the individuals, churches, Sunday school classes, and companies who generously donated to the wine pull, raffle, silent and live auctions.
