Arlington Urban Ministries is an outreach ministry of the Arlington area United Methodist churches. AUM provides individualized assistance to those in transition or crisis.
|
|
Our skilled staff and volunteers:
- Respectfully listen to each client’s individual situation
- Assist in identifying options and possible solutions
- Provide financial assistance for rent, utilities, and other basic needs
- Provide emergency food and toiletries
- Offer spiritual and emotional assistance
|

All AUM activities seek to reflect Christ’s love in an ethical and respectful manner.

Angie's Story:
Angie, a young single mother, came to AUM needing help with her rent. During the day, Angie works as a waitress. She is also a full-time night student working towards a medical billing certificate to create a better life for her children. She will graduate in two months.
